Hi - Grade Welding and Manufacturing seeks an experienced Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to join our thriving team. We specialize in CNC machining, custom sheet metal fabrications, welding and assembly. The Mechanical Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and working with the production assembly, inclusive of studying blueprints, verifying specifications and maintaining inventory supply. The right Mechanical Assembly Supervisor  will have a minimum of 2 years supervisory  experience, 5 years of assembly experience  and is highly mechanically inclined. We are highly focused on maintaining safety and seeking those that are dedicated to following our careful procedures and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities for Mechanical Assembly Supervisor Include:

  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements

  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and assemblies

  • Verify specifications by measuring completed component and resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions

  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to all procedures rules and regulations

  • Perform quality work checks

  • Other duties as needed for success

 

Requirements for Mechanical Assembly Supervisor Include:

  • High School diploma and or technical/ vocational training and certification

  • Computer proficiency

  • English speaking, reading and writing fluency

  • Spanish a plus, but not required

  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment

  • Accountable to self and others

  • Able to lift and carry consistently 30 to 50 pounds
