Trice Construction Company seeks an experienced HR Recruiter to join our award winning team in our location in the exciting West Loop of Chicago. We are a utility infrastructure and commercial concrete contractor that provides exceptional construction services to Fortune 500 companies and the top 100 general contractors. The HR Recruiter will work closely with internal staff to fill a variety of positions ranging from administrative staff to project managers.The right candidate will have a minimum of  3 years Human Resource recruitment experience, an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources and excellent PC skills specifically Microsoft Office.  

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build quick positive rapport with others and tenacious follow- through. Responsibilities for the HR Recruiter Include:

  • Write relevant and comprehensive job descriptions

  • Post open positions on career websites

  • Screen resumes

  • Conduct phone interviews

  • Recommend in person interviews to hiring managers for top candidates

  • Schedule in person interviews with occasional participation
  • Assist in on boarding of new hires
  • Coordinate and track performance reviews

  • Filing and correspondence

  • Other duties as needed for success

 

Skills and Experience Requirements for the HR Recruiter:

  • Experience in the construction or engineering industry a plus

  • Highly organized

  • Able to prioritize effectively under changing circumstances  

  • Great sense of humor

  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude
