Office Interiors, a family owned Indiana business, seeks an experienced and ambitious Lead Technician to join our growing and innovative Audio Visual Division - Vista AV Integration. Our customer-centric approach allows us to serve our clients comprehensively from concept development through design, installation, and on-going service. The Lead Technician will be responsible for performing on-site and in-shop installation work, supervising installations and assisting with overall project management implementation and readiness.
 
The right candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in A/V integration, possess excellent computer skills, and be experienced in project administration and execution.

To the Lead Technician we offer:

Duties and Responsibilities for the Lead Technician Include:

  • Perform on-site and in-shop installation work

  • Provide on- site supervision of the installers and contract labor

  • Communicate installation progress to the project manager

  • Coordinate all install punch list items

  • Assist with parts requisitions

  • Control job site inventory

  • Other duties as needed for success

 
Requirements for the Lead Technician Include:

  • Minimum two year experience in one or more related segments, including AV installation, cable pulling, field terminations, system commissioning, DSP configuration, and programming

  • Demonstrates familiarity with the basics of project administration, and ability to plan logistically for all phases of project cycles

  • Solid understanding and experience with integrated operating systems required

  • Highly professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Meticulous organization skills

  • Careful and analytical problem solving skills in all situations
