We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our team. This position reports to the President and mentors and manages a high performing team while maintaining solid client relationships. The right candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, experienced problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all aspects of accounts, including financial, creative, strategic, and tactical functions.
  • Lead clients’ overall marketing strategy (note the word “lead”, not manage!).
  • Lead a diverse team of professionals engaged on your accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Guide team’s performance and skills development, including timely reviews.
  • Εnsure strategies are clearly defined, approved by clients, and understood by the creative team.
  • Manage overall project scope and workflow process, coordinating timing and budget, appropriate staffing and accountability, to execute high quality, on time, cost-effective campaigns.
  • Proactively monitor client marketing plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations. 
  • Monitor and provide campaign performance reporting and metrics analysis to clients and team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4-year degree in marketing, PR, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in agency account management.
  • Ability to manage varied professionals, including graphic designers, web developers and programmers, clients, copywriters, and search specialists.
  • Proficient writer and creative thinker.
  • Planning and budgeting competencies.
  • Experience implementing full-service campaigns, including digital marketing.
  • Successful track-record of managing key clients.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine optimization and search marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics or other analytical tools.
  • Experience with managing full-cycle web development from strategy to implementation.
  • Wordpress experience preferred.
  • Hubspot certification and experience a plus.
  • Understanding of “agency math” (i.e., how agencies truly earn money).

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 with additional compensation opportunities based on growth.

Benefits: After 90 days, medical and paid holidays
