Crest Cleaners is seeking an experienced Manager to join our thriving organization. We provide a variety of exceptional cleaning services including garment, household, and rug cleaning. Our Store Managers are responsible for overseeing many of the day-to-day functions of their store, including coaching and mentoring employees, helping customers, and completing other management tasks and paperwork. The right candidate will have management experience in a customer service industry, enjoy mentoring others, and be able to work six days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities for Store Manager include: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Crest Cleaners store
  • Reviews various monthly reports provided by General Manager to adjust focus and meet productivity and sales goals
  • Handles employee relations to include job performance evaluations, training, discipline, etc., to ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and Crest Cleaners policies
  • Prepares bi-weekly payroll and addresses any labor efficiency problems to include recruitment
  • Provides on-the-job training to Assistant Store Manager, new and, as needed, existing employees
  • Conducts weekly inventory for store
  • Prepares Cash and Daily Sales Report explaining shortages and implementing changes to avoid repeated problems
  • Performs, as needed, any function with the store and route operations
  • Keeps General Manager aware of progress of store operations, route operations, and other management issues
Requirements for Store Manager include:
  • 3 years of job related management experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • High School diploma or GED certificate required
  • Ability to work a minimum of 6 days and 60 hours per week including breaks
  • Technology savvy with basic computer skills
  • Experience with a Point of Sales software beneficial
  • Applicants must successfully complete and pass a drug screen
  • Flexibility to work at any of Crest Cleaners locations in Virginia or Maryland
  • This job may entail hot indoor air temperatures, noisy conditions, standing for long periods of time, and lifting customer garments and supplies up to 50 pounds
